San Antonio Central Catholic Buttons

The San Antonio Central Catholic Buttons are the athletic teams of Central Catholic High School in San Antonio, Texas. The Buttons compete in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) Division I.

The Buttons nickname is a reference to the hard, round segments that comprise the rattle of the rattlesnake. The mascot pays tribute to St. Mary's University, of which the high school was originally a part of, whose mascot is the Rattler.
