Fishburne Military Caissons
The Fishburne Military Caissons are the athletic teams of Fishburne Military School, a private, military boarding school for boys in Waynesboro, Virginia. The school was founded in 1879 and is one of the oldest military schools in the country.
The Caisson mascot is a reference to the school's affiliation with the Army JROTC program. The Caisson is a type of wagon that was used to carry ammunition to the battlefield during the Civil War. The Fishburne Military Caissons are known for their competitive spirit and their commitment to excellence. The team's athletes are dedicated to their sport and to their academics. The Caissons are a source of pride for the Fishburne Military School community.
