Conestoga Valley Buckskins
The Conestoga Valley Buckskins are the athletic teams of Conestoga Valley High School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The Buckskins compete in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Lancaster-Lebanon League.
The Buckskins nickname is a reference to the Conestoga wagon trains that traveled through the Lancaster area in the 18th and 19th centuries. The Buckskins were frontiersmen who served as guides and scouts for the wagon trains. They were known for their toughness, determination, and resilience.
