Bossier City Battle Wings
The Bossier City Battle Wings were a professional arena football team based in Bossier City, Louisiana. They played in the af2 league from 2001 to 2009 and in the Arena Football League (AFL) in 2010. The Battle Wings were owned by the same group that owned the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs, a minor league hockey team.

The Battle Wings' nickname is a reference to the city's military history. Bossier City is home to Barksdale Air Force Base, and the Battle Wings' nickname honors the men and women of the United States military.
