The Hickman Kewpies are the athletic teams of David H. Hickman High School in Columbia, Missouri. The school's mascot is the Kewpie, which is a small, chubby doll with a baby face and wings. The Kewpie was created by Rose O'Neill in 1909, and it quickly became a popular character in children's books and magazines.
