The Concordia-Moorhead Cobbers are the athletic teams of Concordia College Moorhead, a private liberal arts college in Moorhead, Minnesota. The name "Cobbers" is a reference to the town's Scandinavian heritage. In the early 1900s, Moorhead was known for its copper mines, and the miners were often referred to as "cobblers."
