Arizona Assassins
The Arizona Assassins were a women's professional football team that played in the Women's Football Alliance (WFA) from 2009 to 2012. The team was based in Phoenix, Arizona, and played its home games at the Glendale Arena.
The Assassins name was chosen to reflect the team's aggressive and physical style of play. The team's mascot was a masked assassin, and its colors were black and red.
