2023 Georgia Southern Eagles Football Preview
The Georgia Southern Eagles are looking to build on their 7-6 record from last season in 2023. The Eagles return a number of key players, including quarterback Shai Werts, running back Zaquandre White, and wide receiver Jalen Nailor.
Werts is entering his senior season and is the team's most experienced quarterback. He threw for 2,963 yards and 17 touchdowns last season.
